APRIL 11, 2023 – Plus Brand Industries is pleased to welcome two incredible leaders to the rapidly growing Agua Plus team. Kristen and Gary Toma are now actively serving as Directors of Community Engagement, tasked with overseeing in-house support for the Company’s expanding distribution network. The role, perfectly suited to this charismatic and effective duo, is focused primarily on helping facilitate the success of our innovative DSD distribution partners by visiting retailers in the markets they service in order to help with product and technology education, product merchandising and point of sale displays. Having built several successful businesses over the years across multiple industries, Gary and Kristen possess a keen understanding of what it takes to lead teams and help assist retail locations to launch Agua Plus successfully. 

“With what feels like a lifetime of experience in all arenas of sales, marketing, healthy living and relationship building, we have learned to quickly identify a game-changing product when we see one.” said Kristen Toma. “Bottle confusion is a problem we constantly experience daily in our own family and social lives so when we came across Agua Plus through a friend we immediately knew that it was something we needed to be a part of. The idea of scratching something onto a drink to differentiate it from others is brilliant. Even our kids loved it right away and had a great time scratching their names in different ways. We knew at that point that Agua Plus was about to completely change the functional beverage game as consumers become aware that this All-Scratch! technology exists. Since then, our daily interactions with retailers are constantly confirming that belief in real time!”

In the first week alone, the Company has seen amazing results as over 90% of locations visited either placed new orders, increased their current pending orders or increased allocated floor, shelf and cooler space for Agua Plus after receiving the opportunity to better understand the very unique value proposition behind All-Scratch! Technology; the only solution to eliminating the confusion, waste and health risks caused by the problem of bottle confusion. Many of these interactions are beginning to be captured and shared by the Toma’s on the company’s social media.

“One of our goals as a company is to help our DSD partners increase their revenues, grow their Non-Alcoholic (N.A.) market share, incentivize their sales staff and ultimately move large volumes of Agua Plus quickly.” said National Sales Director George Zrinyi. “When our partners win, we win. It all comes down to equipping them with a unique offering and then helping build awareness with retailers and consumers alike in their markets. Gary and Kristen are quickly proving to play a huge role in that process and we are already preparing to replicate their approach, strategies and successes in additional markets.”

Gary Toma, when asked about what makes the approach that he and Kristen take work so well, shared the following though: “Business is ultimately people. When you let people know that you genuinely care about helping them succeed and that you truly want to understand and accommodate their individual goals and needs, the rest takes care of itself. As Kristen and I apply our well developed skill set to working with this amazing team and to support the growth of our Agua Plus partners, I am quite convinced that 2023 will finish with Agua Plus and All-Scratch! well on their way to becoming mainstream brands.”
