AGUA PLUS EARNS PERFECT RATING ON YUKA

SEPTEMBER 29, 2023 – Plus Brand Industries is pleased to share that our premium alkaline water, Agua Plus, has been rated 100/100 on the app Yuka! 

Yuka is an independent application that launched in France back in 2017. Brothers Benoit and François Martin, along with their friend Julie Chapon, co-founded the app in order for customers to make healthier choices and better understand product labels. 

Yuka’s scoring is based on 3 criteria: 

               Nutritional quality (60% of the score)
               Presence of additives (30% of the score)
               Organic dimension of the product (10% of the score)

The nutritional quality of a product takes into account calories, sugar, salt, saturated fats, protein, fiber, fruits and vegetables. Additives are assigned a risk level based on various studies. Green indicates a product is risk-free, yellow is limited risk, orange means moderate risk, and red indicates a hazardous additive. The organic dimension is simply a bonus given to products labeled as organic. 

With 2.5 million products currently on the app, and 1,200 new products added every day, it is no easy feat to achieve a perfect score on Yuka. We are proud to say we are one of only a handful of water brands to receive a 100/100.
