JULY 16, 2025 – Plus Brand Industries is excited to be partnering with Project Legacy as the official water supplier of ‘The National’, an upcoming boys high school basketball combine event taking place on August 23 at The Village Charter High School in Middleton, Florida. Agua Plus alkaline water will be provided on-site to meet the hydration needs of all athletes, sponsors, volunteers and spectators during what is sure to be an action packed day.
The inaugural 2025 event will showcase top level high school boys basketball talent from across Central Florida with over 150 athletes participating. The event host, Project Legacy, was formed in 2009 by a group of individuals who saw a need to help children participate in local sports activities in the community. The Project Legacy team is passionate about discovering ongoing needs that face the children and youth of our community and are committed to networking community resources to help meet those needs.
“The National was designed to showcase elite young talent, while also fostering connections, creating awareness of important causes and creating unforgettable moments both on and off the court for everyone involved,” said event organizer and Project Legacy volunteer John Strong. “It’s ultimately a charity driven initiative working to uplift our young athletes in Central Florida, ensuring they have the support and resources to chase their dreams, along with those who are at risk. We’re all about helping to empower the next generation of our youth and leaders.”
Project legacy is hosting the event alongside two incredible partners that are creating a significant impact in the lives of Central Florida youth through the sports that they love. One is the Riptide Society. A critical charity that is empowering at-risk youth to rise from struggle to strength. Working together, they identify and implement ways to lift individuals out of the unique riptide they are caught in, and settle them into a new, safe and healthy wave where they can thrive.
The second partner is the Buffalo Stampeders, Central Florida’s Premier Youth Sports Club. The club offers a wide spectrum of 13 sports for athletes ranging from 5-18 years old. Their goal is to provide an opportunity for children to grow and learn through their programs and to achieve whatever goals they may have.
